On behalf of the Hatch Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), I would like to welcome you, or welcome you back, to Hatch Elementary School for the 2021-2022 school year!
For those of you who are unfamiliar with us, we are a volunteer organization made of up of administrators, educators and parents dedicated to the successful education of our children. The Hatch Elementary PTO works hard to help make the school year both enjoyable and exciting for teachers, students and their families.
The primary purposes of our organization are to aid Hatchies and staff by providing support for educational and enrichment needs, and to build a campus community. In the past, the Hatch Elementary PTO has used our resources, both volunteer force and monetary, to offer a range of programs including art, music, environmental science with HEAL, physical education through Kinder Movement and the PlayWorks program during recess. We assisted with classroom expenses and field trips, and financed the library. This year, we will be focusing returning these valuable enrichment programs and fun events to campus after more than a year of remote learning.
It has always been a challenge for us to get the word out about everything scheduled to take place throughout the school year. We will do our best to send out information through various methods such as emails, this website, the Hatch eNews and on social media. Please visit the Contact Us tab and fill-out the form to make sure you are included on our mailing list. Join our Parents of Hatch Elementary School Facebook group and follow us on Instagram. Additionally, everyone is invited to attend PTO meetings.
